- learn to look beyond the traffic for objects in the road
- a crushed beer can will still hit the underside of the car
- large pieces of truck tire treads are know as Road Alligators
- a large Road Alligator nearly ended our trip early south of Lexington
- aggressive swerving to avoid objects in the road can be done at 70+ mph when the driver is given at least 1.2 seconds of warning
- Corvettes have been manufactured and on the road since 1953; yet there are still people who come up to the car and want to know what kind of car it is
- true story--- happened at Waffle House in Findlay, OH
- sunscreen really works; if you don't miss a spot when applying
- "You don't need no stinkin' brakes" - quotes Stroker. Downshift!
- speed bumps can be major obstacles - you have to literally drag the car across them- scraping the x-cross-member in the process
- signs that say "Exit ahead - 20 MPH"; are best not taken at significantly higher speeds...especially by rookie drivers, piloting another man's car
- Playing follow the leader through traffic with a Porsche 911 GT3 is FUN!
